HISTORY:
Jim Hopkins began working in the printing industry in 1975 when he and wife Arnie ran a single press out of their garage. Jim worked for Timken Roller Bearing Company during the days and would print projects on nights and weekends. After two years of garage printing, the Hopkins moved to a new location in German Village and ran their newly renamed company, Hop-To Printing. Arnie would take orders during the day and Jim would print them at night. Jim continued to work at Timken an additional year before printing became his full time career. By 1980 Hop-To Printing was doing a fair amount of commercial work, resulting in a rename to J.F. Hopkins & Associates Commercial Printers. Through the company’s hard work, commitment to technological advancement, and dedication to customer service, they have become the $18 million company they are today: Hopkins Printing.
