Hopkins Printing Announces Installation of New Printing Press
COLUMBUS, OHIO (October 20, 2004) – Hopkins Printing has announced the installation of a fifth Heidelberg press for its pressroom.
The new press is a full-size four-color press with an aqueous coater. Its advanced technology allows it to run four colors plus coating in-line or run two colors on two different sides of the sheet in a single pass.
The Heidelberg press is equipped with the latest features to increase speed and quality. In-line ink dispensers and an on-press scanning spectrophotometer have been added to allow the pressman to scan the color bars on the sheet and have the press do automatic updates for color consistency.
